Caterpillar

A Caterpillar is an insect that transforms into a butterfly.

Caterpillar (see Moth, Worm).

A caterpillar is an insect, slow and methodical in its march. It eats plants, leaves and such. The illustration in many sermons of a caterpillar is that its eyes are fixed downward at the ground, the world. But when the transformation happens, then it becomes a butterfly, and its eyes are fixed upward at heaven. It no longer marches through the filth of the world, but flies through the skies of God.
